CHAIN
about.
This was my favourite short film that I worked on in uni.

I am credited on this project as a Producer and Extra. Though as a member of a small team, my contributions also extended to other departments; assisting with special/practical effects, set design, and as a general runner.

Through this project, I deepened my love for the whole principal photography process. As a producer, I endeavoured to be very present on set in order to familiarise myself with the responsibilities and processes of different departments and roles.

Some of my biggest contributions as a Producer came in the process of organising locations, in particular negotiating an affordable rate on the vintage tram hire with the Sydney Tramway Museum.

MCCALL CREW ROLES INTRO
about.
This project was one of the last productions I worked on in uni. It also involved the largest crew I've been a part of, which as a Director was a welcome challenge.

The work I did on this project also bled into assisting in the script writing process, as well as performing on screen. The task of directing non-performers proved to be a bit of a puzzle, but an entertaining one to be sure — you'll see that my OWN performance proves as much!

I also had the pleasure of working in the MCCALL Productions Studio, giving me and the rest of the very talented crew access to some of the best facilities and equipment; including but not limited to the Sony FX6, some very expensive lighting rigs, follow focus, constructed sets/stages, an extensive props archive, and many more.

DOLDRUMS
about.
This was the very first short film I worked on in uni.

I am credited on this project as a Writer and Sound Design. Though as a member of a small team, my contributions also extended to sound recording, gaffing, editing and titles.

Through this project, I deepened my love for post-production and deepened my skill set in the sound department. I had a focus on playing into the sombre nature of the story in hopes of eliciting feelings of reminiscing.

I was responsible for organising the music by getting into contact with a Cambridge Music Graduate and former high school classmate in Perrin Ford. He lent his talents to us by writing the music featured in the project, performed on cello by fellow high school alum Javier Mobellan.
